Welcome Hunter Harding Ellis

Just a QUICK post to tell you that Hunter Harding Ellis made his way into the world this evening at 5:05 pm. He weighs 6 lbs 12 oz. and is 19 inches long. I'll post more about the specifics later - but knew lots of people were anxious to hear news. He is precious, and actually looks a lot like Gabe did...just smaller. He started nursing and made some of the cutest little grunts and noises. Can't wait to get to know this little creation.
Gabe is getting ready to meet his new brother - who is getting cleaned up in the nursery right now. He was concerned that Hunter had an owie (because he was crying) but when Gramma reassured him that Hunter was ok Gabe asked if Hunter could go swimming. Then he was worried because Hunter wasn't wearing a shirt :) Should be an adventure for all of us.

Oh Joanna, he's precious! You're gonna have another handsome little man! Good work! No rush, but it would be fun to see photos of Gabe as a newborn to compare to Hunter. I see a little patch of hair sticking out from under the hat. I can't wait to hear and see more! Congratulations! and I bet it is so nice having your mom there!
Love to all four of you!

What a precious gift from Heaven. Welcome to little Hunter and we are glad you are both safe and well.

I have to say -- HEY!!! I was robbed. I think I feel cheated out of my prize for guessing when the baby would come - No fair having us guess and then inducing labor on a different date!! hehehe

We love you all - Aunt Charlotte & Uncle Brian

Yeah! Congrats! He looks like a such a sweet, cute baby! And so little! I am so glad he is here safe and sound. It will be fun to see more pictures and to hear more of what Gabe thinks. I got a great book for Emeline when Jarom was born- it's called "I'm a Big Sister Now" (they have a "big brother" one too). She read it about 20 times a day for several weeks- it was a fun way for her to understand having a new baby better. It looks like Gabe is already being a great big brother, though! How cute that he was so concerned about Hunter not having a shirt! :)
