Just another thing to add to the list of things we've managed to accomplish now that we have 2 kids. We went to church all together as a family! Granted - Hunter and I were about 15 minutes late and we had to take seperate cars....but we did attend most of the 3 hours of meetings! Gabe sat through all of Sacrament meeting (which in and of itself is worthy of a post) and Hunter stayed mostly asleep until the last block of meetings, and then he nursed nicely in the mother's lounge and went back to sleep. It might not seem like a big accomplishment to most - but it feels nice to have it under our belt so we'll be ready for all the weeks to come.
Gabe's nursery leaders did comment on the fact that he was really hyper and loud this week...they said he was good, just a bit wild. Yikes - I'm not ready for that kind of a report. Although I have a feeling it won't be the last time....Gabe has been SOOO vocal lately - and I constantly get comments on how much he talks.
And I also got MANY comments at church about how much Hunter looks like Gabe. Everyone who stopped to look at him said, "Oh - he's so cute and little. And he looks JUST like Gabe!" One nice older woman said to me, "You and your husband do good work!" I had to smile. I know I would love my kids no matter what they looked like - but they sure are cute.
Hope all of you have a fantastic Sunday!

YAY!! Congratulations. It is a big milestone - or hurdle - or whatever you want to call it. A toddler sitting thru sacrament meeting - - WOW!!! ( It's a big step for all 4 of you to make it thru all 3 hours, too.... good job.) Our friend is struggling staying for even 1 hour lately - but she has a 2 year old and a 1 year old - you won't have to face that kind of mobility and vocalization for another year.
If we lived down there, I would sit behind you and we would play with your kids to entertain them all thru church.
LOVE YOU - Aunt Charlotte
That is a big deal... especially after having missed some or all of the 3 meetings for several weeks. It feels good to know that you are making progress with your children!
love you and look forward to seeing you - Paul
