So here are a couple of pictures of Gabe tonight. I am constantly in awe of him growing. He gets bigger every day, is more independent, has more personality, is more sweet - and makes me love him even more. It's amazing how fun he is, and how connected I feel to him after these last *almost* four months.
(and I just love how this one looks in black and white!)
Here are some pictures taken this weekend while we were in Logan for Thanksgiving. The picture that best captures how Gabe is right now is the one with his hands in his mouth. The little guy can't get enough of sucking/chewing on his hands, or anything else he can manage to get in his mouth. Right now his hands are about all he's coordinated enough to get in, but he's getting better at getting those toys slobbery too.

Bedtime at our house is really quite fun. Gabe starts really fussing around 8:30 - telling us that it's time for his bath. He looks forward to this time of the day more than anything else! As soon as the water starts running he gets excited and starts kicking. Once he gets in the tub - watch out! The other night I could have sworn we were participating in a rendition of Riverdance - he was kicking like crazy.
After the bath we have a quick massage with the yummy lavendar Aveeno lotion (we LOVE this lotion! Thanks Grandma Whisler!) and slip Gabe into his jammies. There is something just scrumptious about a baby in their pjs! Then we normally read a quick story and have prayer with Daddy. Then Gabe has one last meal for the night, and slips off to sleep. Even nights that he doesn't go to sleep right away he will talk himself to sleep - he's really quite pleasant once he's in bed.
We're truly blessed to have such a good little guy! I'll put up with some evening fussing if I get such a cooperative sleeptime!

I seriously didn't think that he could get any cuter - but every single day he is just more adoreable! Today we went to Walmart and he literally sang at the top of his lungs the whole time. He was SO noisy! He made the funniest noises with the biggest grin on his face - it was so much fun. I was laughing so hard and between his silliness, and my enjoying it we made quite a pair!

This is actually the view out of our hotel room window! We loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the water, or the great Hawaiian music they'd play at night. It was so beautiful and peaceful I could have sat there the whole trip and enjoyed myself!
Here we are at the Beach Blast party they had for us one night. It was a great time! Gabe did great, and we were able to enjoy our meal, play some games, and enjoy one another's company.
The drive we took on the road to Hana was AMAZING! The brochure we took before heading out said that it would be the most beautiful scenery that we'd ever see - and it was certainly correct!!!
