Fantastic Video - Dayton's Legs

I came across this video last week, just a day before Cory was going to participate in a sprint triathlon himself.  As I watched this sweet boy and his immense love and friendship for Dayton I couldn't hold back the tears. I called my boys into my computer room and had the watch it with me several times.  I cried and told them that I hoped they could be that kind of friend to someone someday.  We had a moment to talk about how Jesus is friends to everyone, and He wants us to love others too.

What a beautiful and touching story!

Zumba with Jabari - (ROCKS!)

I've been talking up the Zumba class I go to at Lifetime Fitness and thought I'd check to see if I could find our instructor Jabari in action. Check out this video and see the class I go to each week. It doesn't give Jabari enough credit because going to his class is a TOTAL blast. I love that he has fun, gets us moving and makes someone like me even think she can dance. Speaking of my ability to dance....my friend Tannie and I decided to go to his Hip-Hop dance class a month or so ago - just to give it a try. I felt like I was stumbling along during the last 1/2 of the class. The next night at Zumba he came up and talked to me before class and asked how I'd liked it. I said I'd had a great time, but I wasn't very good....he paused and I could tell he was trying really hard to respond as politely as possible. He gave me a sympathetic look and said, "Uh...but you kept trying....? Keep coming and you'll eventually catch on....?" He said it almost like a question, like he wasn't totally sure if I'd catch on, but why not try? It totally made me laugh. I'm not a dancer by any means, but I totally can Zumba with Jabari! (Now to just convince him to teach more than one class a week.....)

Some Digi-Scrapping Stuff

Check out this great post on Libby's blog and check out these fun freebie templates you can download.  One of them is based on this layout I created using a Libby Pritchett kit.

Here are a few other layouts I've done recently. I haven't been scrapping as much as usual....don't know where my creative energy ran off to!

And here are some of the latest Quick Page Albums I have released using Connie Prince products.  They can be purchased at Gotta Pixel and Scrapbook Bytes.

And there will be more coming soon :)

LDS General Conference

Oh how I LOVE listening to General Conference!  I am in awe each time how relevant and poingant the messages are - as if some of them are written just for me!  I am so grateful that the spirit can speak to my heart and that I can connect with the words of our church leaders!

If any of you missed what was shared in conference this past weekend check back at this website where they will list when the transcripts and recordings are available.  I promise if you listen with an open heart and mind that the spirit can speak of the truth to your soul.

A few inspiring words....

Just wanted to share a couple inspiring quotes I've seen floating around the blog world.  I don't take credit for any of them - it's all been created by other great people.

And lastly - check out this great website - Eighteen25.  They have darling ideas and they have these super cute "Easter Subway Art Prints" that you can download for all kinds of holidays and occasions.  I love it!

ENJOY!
