Oops...

Yesterday morning this is what I found when I got Hunter up. Oops...poor little guy was stuck - but had the BIGGEST smile on his face when he saw me. I love that! I love that he gets excited to see his mommy. I love that he give me hugs and kisses, and I love his gummy smile.

On the other hand - I wasn't so thrilled to be the object of his affection this morning - or middle of the night - however you look at it. He was up at 2:00 am. That would have been fine....but he took FOREVER to fall back asleep and also got up at 4:15 am. He was then basically up for over 3 hours!!! I stayed up with him for the first hour and 1/2 - but he had eaten and I figured Cory could handle things for a bit while I tried to sleep. But Hunter was having none of that. He only wanted me. Luckily Cory helped out and let him cry and played with him. He finally dozed off again around 7:30 am. Then he got up about 9:00 and was back asleep by 10:30. It's now 1:00 and he's still sleeping. WEIRD! So this is the 3rd day in a row he's taken an official nap - in his crib - for longer than 5 minutes.

Pretty miraculous - even if he was up most of the night.

Poor little guy! It reminds me a little of the Wizard of Oz when the house lands on the witch. So cute:)

So is Hunter still napping now that Gabe is home? Your boys are SO handsome. I love Hunter's big gummy smile and all of the photos with his tongue sticking out - so fun!

This predicament happened to Lily once. She is pretty good at going straight to sleep. She used to cry for a minute maybe and I would leave her alone and that was it. One night, Jhonny put her down. 30 minutes later she was still crying. I asked what the matter was with her. Jhonny was ignoring the crying. I chastized him and said, "She never cries THAT long." I went to find her little legs twisted and stuck in her crib worse that Hunter there. Poor thing. She was trying to turn over onto her tummy and was STUCK! LOL.
Thanks for sending the link to your blog! Yeah! Another to add to my links list.

Joanna-

This happened to Alli once. I remember feeling bad that I hadn't gone in to check on her sooner.

I feel bad, after I posted about the fact that Lucy slept well one night, Laura told me that I shouldn't have posted that... It was a one time thing so far, she's not been that sleepy since. Here's to hoping that Hunter and Gabe and Lucy and Alli and Taylor all sleep well in the future so their parents can have more sanity :)
