So after I posted my last post I got to wondering if there was a "national get all of your toys out and make a mess day" - or something of the sort. I haven't found a specific holiday for that occasion, but I did find a website that had a bunch of off-the-wall holidays listed.
Check out this site: BIZARRE AMERICAN HOLIDAYS
Apparently April is . . . . International Guitar Month, Keep America Beautiful Month, National Anxiety Month, National Humor Month, National Welding Month, National Garden Month, and Uh-Huh Month
And just for a laugh I looked to see what my birthday was (June 18th) - It's International Panic Day. I thought that was funny since I've been known to have a bit of anxiety in my life.
So start celebrating darn it!

HeY- i'm National Hamburger Day. I guess that would make sense since it is usually Memorial Day Weekend. Are you sure you aren't National Picnic Day.... I like June because it is Dairy month and ice cream month. Love, Aunt Charlotte
Mine is Games Day...like anyone has time to play a game on Dec. 20th! Whatever!
Mom
If only you'd been born one day later you would have been born on World Sauntering Day. Not sure what that would have entailed. hehe. I was born on "Beverage Day" but it doesn't specify international, local, world, etc. Love you. Alicia
My birthday is "look up at the sky day" Funny list of holidays. Always fun to see what you are blogging.
National Absurdity Day-
Thanks a lot- I'm glad to know I'm recognized properly on my birthday.

At least you can look forward to Aug. 22nd... Be an Angel day :)
Love you, P.
How Fun! I was born on Camera day wich might explain my love for photography. The I got kids is Name your Poison day...after a day like today I can see a connection there too...:)
Whitney and I are Lumpy Rug day and grandmas is Evaluate Your Day. I think I like lumpy rug better. Grandpa
So I think those holidays are a day off or something. Mine is National Brandied Fruit day, but the next day is Babbling day, which according to my husband is a more appropriate title for my birthday. And my daughter's is Log Cabin day, but the next is Chocolate Pudding day which is definitely more appropriate for her. Hmm. Who came up with these holidays, anyway?
What on earth is a LUMPY RUG ??? Is it a bad toupee on a windy day or an uncomfortable carpet, or a rug that the dog or the kids raced across and crumpled?? And no offense, but why do you need a whole day of it?? Laughing my head off - Charlotte
